First Chance U - How Ile Omode started a college program for 8th graders
NetFlix has its "Last Chance U", collegiate football players' last chance at a D1 scholarship; Ile Omode has "First Chance U", our 8th graders first collegiate experience. Through Ile Omode's accelerated math program, 8th graders complete their college courses at Laney College. Nearly 20 Ile Omode students have completed Laney’s Algebra 2 course, all earning an 'A'.
