BET Headquarters By Sennua Hunter (6th grade)
When we arrived at the headquarters, we ate lunch with Antoinette Woodland, an interior designer. After that we talked and asked her questions. When we were done we met one of the producers, Andre Joyner. I really enjoyed his sneak peek animation. He produced scenes for the BET Awards program and other commercials for BET. He was so nice and cool and he really loved his job. After that we met a man named Jason Skinner. He was an overnight supervisor. He showed us around the studio and we got to see how the different shows started on different times since it was going all around the world. Following that, we took pictures and went to eat dessert with Antoinette Woodland while watching the BET Awards When we were done and about to leave, we saw Debra Lee, BET's CEO. She was very nice and pretty. We took pictures with her and we got to go in her office. Her office was so nice and attractive. If you saw her office you wouldn’t be able to imagine just how big her house was. There were nice chairs and tables and she also had a bathroom! In the bathroom she had a makeup area and had stalls. Overall all the people we met at BET Headquarters all loved their jobs and got along very well. Some of the people I met were Antoinette Woodland, interior designer; Carey Manhertz, VP of Operations; Andre Joyner, video editor; Jason Skinner, overnight supervisor; Scott Mills, COO; and Debra Lee, CEO. I really enjoyed them and I hope to see them again. |
