On the way back for DC, we were scheduled to fly on two planes. We boarded our first plane in DC. It took approximately an hour for us to take off because something was wrong with the airplane.

In the meantime we were just sitting and all the planes were in a line. While we were just sitting there. I fell asleep for a little while. I woke up when we finally took off.

All the planes were in a line. We were 3rd in line and we were 3rd to take off. Finally, we were in the air and everyone I observed was asleep except for me. After 1 hour we arrived in Philadelphia. We were so tired, and hoping that our next flight would arrive quickly.

However, we were informed with more bad news. Our plane was delayed. We had to take three more planes when our original plan was to take the plane from Philadelphia to San Francisco. I was so frustrated.

We had to call our parents to tell them we were going to arrive in Oakland at 11:00 pm. We were originally supposed to return 11hrs earlier at 12:00 am. It was an 11 hour delay. Everyone including our parents was disappointed with the bad news. After all the confusion we were informed with more bad news.

Aminah and Isis were going to have to be on different planes than everyone else. Aminah’s flight change was because her last name is Muhammad and she was on the watch list for terrorist. Isis was just unlucky. Baba Jahi worked it out with the airline employees because we couldn’t be on different flights since we were children.

Also I had to sit by all boys. I had to sit by Dante, Marcus and Tajan. I was bored. On our last flight my stomach was hurting and I was ready to be home. When we finally got to San Francisco I was so excited. My mom was standing outside waiting for me .When we went in the car my dad drove it around and we got home safely. When we got home I was happy to see my mom, dad, brother, cousins, uncle, aunt, and my dog. I showed them all the stuff I bought and told them about what we saw there, and then we went to bed.
