Howard University is located in Washington, D.C. Howard University is a good school to get in, and you have to have a 3.0 or higher GPA. There are lots of majors and events.
Each year someone is elected to prepare Homecoming, one of the biggest events on Howard University's campus.
The people who are elected to do this major event do it until October which is the time during Homecoming. At Homecoming, people vote to see who will become Mr. Howard and Ms. Howard.
On campus there is a big space where each group has their own tree or statue. On their tree they paint their group's name.
Howard University's campus dorms are divided up into different sections; the athletes get the best dorms.
When someone begins as a freshman they have to share a room with other people and share a bathroom with all the people on that floor in the hallway. Howard University has lots of rules. One is not to have parties even though people always have parties and no drinking. If they catch you drinking you will be kicked out of your dorm and can never come back.
Another rule is that a young man must walk a young woman to her dorm because the boy's dorms are so far away. And a young woman should never be walking at night alone. Howard University is a nice area and is very quiet and I think lots of people will have a good time there.
