At the end of March, the 8th grade class of 2022 gathered at Ile Omode for the “Acceptance Day” party to commemorate their acceptance into various private high schools across the Bay Area. Each of the students was accepted into 3 or more private schools, and the school continued its success of ensuring that every student gains acceptance into a private school.
Six students will attend Bishop O’Dowd High School. The school will receive Lanai Mitchell, Morgan Smith, Osereme Oriabure, Kaiden Gibbs, Naasir Griffin, and Ababacar Kouyate. Lanai, Morgan, and Osereme earned the school's presidential award - the highest scholarship given to incoming freshmen. They join a list of previous Ile Omode recipients.
