Peace and blessings family! In order to align the values and discipline practices of the school with that of the families we serve, our instructors here at Ile Omode  have begun an endeavor coined the "Whole Child Initiative" (WCI).  This series of meetings are an effort to strengthen our school culture and revitalize our values to serve as the foundation for the policies we've been asked to produce. For our children to be successful, the WHOLE community has to be aligned in our values, methods, and mission. As an African-centered institution, we must take a (w)holistic approach to the education of the children in our community by developing their character, scholarship, and spirit. Parents are an integral stakeholder in this initiative. At the last parent meeting, we asked parents to host discussion groups on the following topics: Discipline, Spirit, Access to Technology , and Developing Scholars and we are excited to announce that parents have stepped up to organize these discussion groups!

Moving forward, we would like ALL parents to attend and participate in these discussions. All dates and locations are on the school calendar. Please choose at least one discussion that you can attend.
